Our Founder and Beginnings
At The Ritz Makeup Lounge, we pride ourselves on being founded by the incredibly talented and driven Carly Blackman.
With her extensive knowledge and passion for the industry, Carly's vision was to create a luxurious, welcoming space where women could come together to enhance their beauty and confidence.
Carly's love for makeup started at a young age, watching her grandma and mother's friends get ready for special occasions. She recognized the power of makeup in bringing women together and giving them the confidence to conquer their day. This inspired her to enrol in a Tafe Makeup course, which eventually led her to pursue further studies with the Diploma of beauty therapy and Diploma of Screen and Media makeup.
Over the years, Carly honed her skills and worked for other notable companies in the industry, perfecting her craft and gaining invaluable experience. All this hard work led to the birth of her own creative brand - The Ritz Makeup Lounge.
Here, our founder has created a warm, safe space where women from all walks of life can come to feel beautiful and confident. With Carly's extensive knowledge and experience, along with her incredible team, she strives to provide the best beauty services to our clients.

Bridal Makeup
The Ritz Makeup Lounge is proud to cater to all types of weddings, micro weddings, elopements and commitment ceremonies. We have a number of packages available or you can request a custom package. We prefer email, text or phone bookings as we love getting to know our brides personally without "automated robots" replying to brides enquiries.

For our formal girls that want to make a statement, whether it be a semi formal, senior formal, or debutant ball.we provide all formal hair and makeup services. Makeup is inclusive of lashes either individual or strip and our hair styling is able to cater to all extension and hair padding styles.

LESSONS
Maybe you have been using the same products from 15 years and want to do a complete overhall of your products, maybe your a makeup artist wanting to level up your education, or maybe you just dont know where to start when it comes to makeup and hair and want a unbiased insider perspective. Well look no further, the ritz makeup lounge offers 1:1 or group lessons where we teach you how to create your desired look, we can work off inspiration photos or show you what will work for your unique face shape.
